Portlock Black Cultural Center

The stone home originally located at 517 Clinton Terrace was successfully moved in August 2021 to a new foundation system installed at the corner of McCartney and Hart Streets. During the summer of 2022 we completed renovations to the home’s interior and exterior. The furniture and equipment are in place, and students are now residing there. The Portlock Black Cultural Center was re-dedicated on Nov. 19, 2022.
