Gummeson Grounds: Home of Mike Bourger ’44 Field at Oaks Stadium

In early April 2023, the College broke ground on the Gummeson Grounds: Home of the Mike Bourger ’44 Field at Oaks Stadium renovation project at Metzgar Fields.

This project includes updated roof covered seating, English-style terraces behind the goals and along the sidelines, a new press box, and an irrigation system for the playing surface. Thanks to a lead gift from Peter Gummeson ’80, the new stadium will be open for the fall ‘23 soccer season.
