(Updated Aug. 2023) — Thanks to a grant from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Multimodal Transportation Fund, this project will make improvements to Cattell Street from High Street, through to where it turns into College Avenue at McCartney Street. The work will begin upon receipt of a highway occupancy permit from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, which is in progress. Each intersection will be renovated with improved crosswalks, plus added bump outs that reduce the time it takes for pedestrians to cross the roadway. The City of Easton is managing this project in close coordination with the College, and we expect completion in Spring of 2024.
