Alumni Memorial Plaza

Because Alumni Memorial Plaza in front of Oechsle Hall was heavily used to load materials for constructing the Rockwell Integrated Sciences Center as well as during construction of the new Markle Parking Deck, we have redesigned and upgraded the plaza’s paving surfaces as part of the parking deck work. Specifically, this summer we installed new bluestone pavers and brickwork to match the look of similar campus projects. This fall, we will complete minor concrete patchwork of the exposed aggregate finish surrounding the new installation, as it requires a specialty finisher to blend into the surrounding surfaces.
