(Updated Feb. 2024) — Since January 2023, classrooms have been open in the 4,000-square-foot Scott Pavilion, made possible by a gift from Walter Scott ’59, including three new classrooms and a glass-collaboration center on the fifth floor. The robotics lab has also been completed on the fifth floor, thanks to a gift from Gary ’01 and Leanne ’02 Anderson and a grant from the McCutchen Foundation.
With the January 2023 opening of three new classrooms within the Scott Pavilion area of the Acopian Engineering Center expansion project, an existing classroom on the second floor was renovated into a new bioengineering laboratory and cell culture room. The bioengineering laboratory is a combination of both a research lab and small classroom area, for hands-on learning. The new lab is open for use as of January 2024.
Renovations to the exterior building entrance, including upgrading the accessible ramp and improving the building’s exterior and visibility, were completed during the fall 2022 semester.
