On June 1, 2013, the Grossman House for Global Perspectives was awarded LEED-CI Gold certification by the U.S. Green Building Council.

The College converted this building from a fraternity house into special interest housing. This building received gold certification in the U.S. Green Building Council’s leadership in energy and environment design rating system. Grey water retention cistern was installed. Recycled and recyclable materials used throughout, as well as high efficiency lighting, fixtures and equipment. Additionally, a dashboard will be used which monitors the building energy usage. The landscaping has been planned using plants, shrubs and flowers indigenous to the area.
