Fencing – This week, additional fencing will be installed around High Street in front of Markle Hall to establish a construction perimeter around the Markle Hall crosswalk construction. Fencing between Skillman Library and Markle Hall will be removed towards the later portion of this week.

Traffic –  With the intersection of High and Sullivan complete, crews began construction of the Markle Hall crosswalk this morning.  High Street will be closed in front of Markle Hall through next Tuesday.

South Campus Detour Route – As drivers approach Markle Hall from High Street, they will be directed behind Markle, where they can follow the one-way access road between Markle Hall and the parking deck.  Once they reach the first stop sign, they can turn left to pick up High Street between Markle Hall and Acopian Engineering Center.

North Campus Detour Route – Drivers coming up Sullivan Road seeking access to High Street are detoured down South College Drive to McCartney Street, where they can make a left and get back to High Street.

Parking –  The spaces in front of Markle Hall along High Street will be unavailable during the Markle crosswalk construction.

Noise – The center Quad is in the demo phase. Construction is the nosiest as concrete is broken up and loaded into trucks.

Clinton Terrace – Clinton Terrace is only open for deliveries to the Farinon Center.

Pathways – Watch for hoses, sprinklers, and sand piles on and around the pathways.
